Camas High School's girls cross country continues to break through barriers, as it has qualified to run in the national championship race Dec. 1 at Portland Meadows.
The Papermakers, running as Team Camas, finished second in the Nike Cross Nationals Northwest Regional meet on Nov. 10 in Boise. The highest-finishing two teams and five individuals earned berths at the Dec. 1 Nike Cross Nationals, where the top teams and individuals from eight U.S. regions compete for the year's national cross country championship. The Northwest region includes runners from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska.
